Bob and Mike will play that night-- bring money-- we will eat and all plan to go--- Bob and Mike Shirts, Jeans and Money to eat in advance.

Going to try to go back to bed at 2 a.m.

March 26th SPLENDORA TOURNAMENT

KRYSTAL PERSON BROUGHT HOME THE ONLY MEDAL-----EVERYONE ELSE DID THEIR BEST-- LONG--HOT DAY----------

TWO BEGINNERS WERE SHAFTED-- OTHER TEAM--- ONLY ONE GIRL SERVED----ENTIRE MATCH------ NEEDLESS TO SAY-----THE GIRLS SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HELP. DIRECTOR GAVE THE GIRLS A CHANCE TO BEAT ANOTHER TEAM PLAYING BY THE RULES-- STILL HURT THAT THESE LADIES WERE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF EXPERIENCE. LIFE IS NOT FAIR AT TIMES. COACH LANG AND I WERE IN HUFFMAN TEXAS WITH THE BOY'S--- RUBEN AND KRYSTAL WERE AT THE SITE-- BUT SO MANY TEAMS WERE PLAYING AT THE SAME TIME AND THEY NEVER ASKED FOR HELP. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

LIVE IS NEVER BORING.

JV AND 9TH DISTRICT IS TUES. UNLESS SOMETHING COMES UP.

THANKS FOR A GREAT SEASON.

LOVE, COACH HRNCIR AND COACH LANG

Bob, Mike, Wayne and Kathy were on a special about doubles.
They should have brought out their contributions to their foundation and dedication and support to our tennis program over the last ten years.

They are a great family that cares about others and give back.

As a teacher and coach I very thankful for their involved in our tennis program--the last ten years have been a blessing to me and my players--experiences of a life time----a professional tennis family who is not afraid to get involved.

Ruben brought a nephew--- he was so cute at 9-- starting tennis early.

Coach Lang and I stayed till after 12 noon------the time flies early in the morning. Baseball guys were getting ready for traveling game-- had a mild work out.

We missed you Coach Lang-- Today she will be with us-- but tomorrow--- the track team needs her to be with them at TSU Relays. Coach Lang is so talented that she is needed in many ways in North Forest ISD. We are thankful when we can get her!

It is a cool morning-- but it will heat up fast------I need to rake a few leaves before I head to the High School---- maybe not.

Don't be late--- see you at 9 a.m.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Wed. March 17th: Love working 2 or 3 hrs a day.

Wednesday was a great day--- Had a total of 7 players plus Ruben. Some how we lost Coach Lang------We dried the courts and noticed thin line cracks--- due to pollen-- that yellow stuff that does not go away---a couple of places bubbled up-- called Coach Hal---- sure that he will follow up--- maybe it was the rain and shift-?

Thankful for the courts and the improvement.

Xavier aand I will beat everyone tomorrow------he left his bag in my truck.

Jannesia was dropped off at Mom's job and Ruben and the guys were still on the courts when we left after 11 a.m.-- Baseball guys had music playing and Rachel's Mom stopped by to watch her play----my three year letter lady--- so so proud of her---will be able to graduate when I retire.

Met my college roommate for lunch----We Love Mexican Food at a special place off of 290 and West Road.

Also, I love afternoon naps.

March 15th

Coach Lang, Coach Hrncir and Coach Hernandez had a great practice with three players-- allot of individual attention-- lots of laughs--- lots of fun.

Hopefully, more players will come tomorrow----- Ruben and his crew were so dedicated that they stayed after Coach Lang and I left. I had to go to a Down Town Tennis Club and get donated tennis balls from my friend Bobby. I drove by Memorial Park and shared some of the balls with my friend Emiley--- Head of USTA----she is a dear friend who shared some good rackets with us.( Six plastic bags) Shared one of our Bob and Mike shirts with him-- he and the Coach from Goose Creek gave me good info when I was making decisions about the colors of our tennis Ct's. Always a blessing to have friends.

Practice is 9 till 11----- Call me if you are not coming. Rain will come later in the day--- We are thinking positive.

March 12th: Ruben and a few players stayed after school for practice.

Friday is fun day and no practice.
Few players stayed after and Ruben Hernandez worked out with the crew that stayed.
Ruben and I will retire together next year. He has been a great helper for the last 4 years--- works us around his college responsibilities and other adventures.
He helps so much--------he knows so much and together we make good choices about placements in tournaments and district-- which is right around the corner. ( Ruben played for me his senior year only-----but is dedicated and he and I enjoy Newks every year-- Coach Lang joined us last Dec.--- great event)

Looking forward to our last tournament and district and Bob and Mike coming to town. Dad, Wayne, always helps us be a BIG Part of the experience at River Oaks. Also, Van Berry is also very very kind.

I have called my friend Bobby, at a local private club, to get us some donated balls----don't want to spend half of my budget on balls again. We are blessed to have people who care about our kids and our programs.

Also, Dale Robertson, writes great articles about us--------

May be taking some of my sick days to recoup from all the activities-----
